When will stallholder applications for Flavours of Mudgee 2019 open?

Stallholder applications will open June 2019. All stallholder enquiries should be directed to events@midwestern.nsw.gov.au.

Where is Flavours of Mudgee held?

The event is held on Church and Market Streets around Mudgee’s iconic Clock Tower.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend Flavours of Mudgee?

Flavours of Mudgee is a free public event. You can however purchase a token tasting package if you wish to sample local wines.

What is included in the Tasting Package?

A Tasting Package includes x 5 tasting (30mL) tokens and a souvenir Flavours of Mudgee tasting glass.

Can I bring my Flavours of Mudgee glass from 2017?

Yes, however if you wish to do tastings you will need to purchase tokens.

Will bottles of wine be available for purchase?

Yes, bottles will be available at cellar door prices. Alcohol may only be removed from the event if it is unopened.

Are unused tokens refundable?

No, no refund is given on any unused tokens.

Do you accept EFTPOS?

Yes, EFTPOS will be available at both token stands, however not all participating wine or food vendors may offer this. Several ATM’s are also available throughout the event area.

Is the event wheel chair accessible?

Yes, Flavours of Mudgee is held on a sealed surface.

Is there entertainment at the event?

Yes both local and interstate performers will be on the street in different locations.

Is parking available at the event?

There is ample free local parking in the area.

Is there available public transport to and from the event?

Mid-Western Regional Council, Roads and Maritime Service and Local Police are joining forces to offer a PLAN B shuttle bus service for Flavours of Mudgee 2018. Operated by Eastend Bus Services, buses will run from Kandos/Rylstone (via Lue) + Gulgong with One way and Return trips available. Places are strictly limited and bookings are essential for this service.

Price: $5.00 (One Way) $10.00 (Return Trip)

  • Gulgong Bus Stop: Trainlink Bus Stop – Herbert Street -(Adjacent to the Memorial Hall)
  • Kandos Bus Stop: Kandos Countrylink Bus Stop – Ilford Road, Kandos
  • Rylstone Bus Stop: Rylstone Countrylink Bus Stop – Louee Street, Rylstone
  • Lue Bus Stop: Countrylink Bus Stop – Swanson Street (Near Railway Station)

Is smoking permitted at the event?

Smoking on the premises is only permitted in designated smoking areas and not within other event areas. A designated smoking area is located at Church St (Mortimer St end).

Are animals allowed?

No pets or animals permitted, with the exception of Assistance Dogs.

Is first aid available?

Yes, St John Ambulance will be located at the intersection of Church and Market Sts.

Is there seating available?

Tables and chairs are available throughout the event area and in the Anglican Church grounds.

Where are toilets located?

Toilet facilities are located in the Anglican Church grounds and Town Hall Arcade. Disabled toilet facilities are located at nearby establishments within the event area, including the Woolpack Hotel, Lawson Park Hotel & Kelly’s Irish Pub.
